Comedy genius Lee Nelson is back, live on stage with his brand-new, laugh-out-loud stand-up show at the borough’s Gem venue, Hackney Empire.

Plonk Crazy Golf

£4.50 child/£9 adult. 6-11pm/12noon-11pm, Friday 31 March-Sunday, 2 April

Plonk’s outdoor course next to Victoria Park includes water features, tiki huts and Moai heads. With heated teepees, the tent village at The People’s Park Tavern also offers remote control car racing, ping-pong, board games and a cocktail room. Under 18s welcome until 7pm.

Rebirth of Burlesque

£22. 8pm, Saturday, 1 April

Get ready for spinning tassels and classy, eyebrow-raising performances, the London Burlesque Festival is back for its 11th annual showcase, kicking off at Hoxton Hall. The official preview gets set to warm up viewers with sizzling hot performances from over a dozen diverse acts bringing glitter, glamour and tease for an unbeatable night out.

East Village Cheese and Wine Festival

Free entry. 12noon-6pm/11am-4pm, Saturday, 1 & Sunday, 2 April

Victory Park in East Village, transforms into a haven for cheese lovers with a festival showcasing the very best in artisan cheese and wine from over 25 independent retailers. Additionally, there will be delicious street food, cheesy burgers, workshops and visitors will be able to finish off the day with several opportunities to sample chocolate treats.
