This Easter is jam-packed with events for an extended weekend to remember in Hackney
Jazzie B and DJ Format and Friends

The Doctors Orders presents a line-up to kick-start the four-day Easter weekend. Jazzie B stormed the charts with Soul II Soul in the late 80s, while DJ Format has promoted heavy drum and bass for over a decade. Supporting acts include DJ Chris Read, DJ Lok, Ralphonze 90 and DJ Odin. Expect sets of hip-hop, soul, house and reggae, at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen.
Easter in the Square
Free. 11am-5pm, Friday, 14 April
Celebrate the work of local young entrepreneurs, who have organised this one-day family event at Gillett Square, Dalston. Expect food stalls, kids games and face painting, music, take part in a treasure hunt and fit in a free massage.
Cadbury Easter Egg Trail
£2. 12noon-5pm, Friday, 14 – Monday, 17 April
Join an Easter Egg Trail for an 'Alice in Wonderland' inspired adventure. Discover fantastical characters – from the White Rabbit to the Jabberwocky – in Sutton House’s 500-year-old rooms for the chance to win a chocolate bunny, in Homerton.

Fragmented Easter Carnival

London’s best DJs, dancers, magicians, contortionists, sketch artists, mime artists and confetti cannons come together for an Easter carnival for grown-ups at The Magic Roundabout, Shoreditch, promising to leave you with magical memories. There will also be chocolate Easter eggs to give away, food stalls and DJ sets.
The Secret Roof Party

The Secret Roof Party crew invites you to join them and some mystery guests at Dalston Roof Park. Everything is being kept under wraps until the day, except that there will be star DJs and a tiki bar. Free entry when you sign up via the link.
The Funky House All Dayer - Easter Special

Over a dozen DJs spin the best in funky house with a strictly-garage hour and two ‘anything goes’ sets. Located in Concrete, Shoreditch, there will also be Easter goodies to giveaway, free horns and whistles, plus a live performance from singer, Miss Fire.
