Netil Radio Launch
11am-8pm, Friday, 28 – Sunday, 30 April
Netil House, in London Fields, launches its new collaborative community project - Netil Radio - a station celebrating East London culture and the people and places that make it so unique. Join in the weekend-long knees-up filled with DJ sets, street food, drinks and pop-up stalls at Netil Market.
Dalston Roof Park Launch Party
£10/12.50. 3pm-12midnight, Saturday, 29 April
Dalston Roof Park (pictured above) officially reopens to the public this bank holiday weekend. The Dalston venue has had some refurbishment, including installing a tiki bar, more furniture, retractable roofing system and more. Maxine Garman headlines the launch night with a massive dose of house music, plus special guests.
Wild Weekend Festival
Free entry and activities. 9am-6pm, Saturday, 29 & Sunday, 30 April
Satisfy your curiosity and experience Hackney’s wild side at Woodberry Wetlands nature reserve in Woodberry Down, as it celebrates the first year of being open to the public, with themed events including workshops, talks and debates, a live music stage, guided walks and activities for all ages. Food and drink will be on sale, while an outdoor farmers market will be selling locally produced organic food, drinks and crafts.

A celebration of London’s best margaritas as restaurants spar it out for the top title at the Margarita Rumble at The Yard, in Shoreditch. Sample the best recipes while listening to live music. Food also available to purchase.
Hackney Half Marathon
From 9am, Sunday, 30 April
Cheer on the runners as they attempt to conquer the borough's streets at the ever-popular Hackney Half Marathon (pictured above). The event is part of the Virgin Sport Festival of Fitness which also features free fitness classes, a 5.5k run, fan hubs and more all squeezed into one spectacular day.
Field Day at Dinerama

Field Day and Street Feast bring together the best in music, food and beer for the ultimate Field Day festival warm-up party featuring Erol Alkan, Django Django DJs, Tim Burgess and more at Dinerama, in Shoreditch.
The Queen’s Yard Summer Party
£20.50/12.50 before 2pm. 12noon-4am, Sunday, 30 April
A gathering of music, food, drink and crafts set along a canal-side backdrop. A series of breweries, restaurants, and craft businesses will transform the entire yard into a one-off community experience. Expect pop-up stalls, fashion retailers, DJ sets and more at Queen’s Yard, in Hackney Wick.

Enjoy bank holiday Monday with a family disco alongside giant games, face painting, kids meals and adult cocktails, while Disco Loco resident DJ Emilia Harmony is on the decks at The Magic Roundabout, in Shoreditch.
