Preview: comic Shazia Mirza's extended tour comes to Hackney

The stand-up brings her daring comedy 'The Kardashians Made Me Do It' to Hoxton Hall, exploring life, love and Jihadi brides

'THE Kardashians made me do it,' is one phrase you probably don’t expect to hear in conjunction with the words, 'I ran away to join ISIS'.

But then, comedian Shazia Mirza has never been afraid of the unexpected. For one night only, the award-winning stand-up and star of ‘The Now Show’ is bringing her otherwise sold out tour to Hoxton Hall.

Organised by Upfront Comedy, ‘The Kardashians Made Me Do It’ examines the nature of offence, the dangers of politically correct liberalism, and the sinister intrusion of ISIS into the lives of young British Asian women.

It will be daring, it will be thought provoking. And it will be very, very funny.

'Shazia Mirza: For One Night Only' appears at Hoxton Hall, on 3 March. Tickets are £12.50 or £10.50 for concessions.
