Norman Jay presents Good Times Goes East

Destination Hackney has a pair of free tickets to give away for this carnival event

ONE of the UK’s finest DJs is bringing his own brand of ‘Good Times’ to Hackney this August bank holiday, and we have two tickets to give away.

On 29 August, Norman Jay MBE Presents Good Times Goes East will see one of the founding fathers of the UK clubbing scene turning St John-at-Hackney Church into a cathedral of hip-shaking sound, spinning summer grooves from 4pm till 10pm.

Incredibly, it’s Norman’s East End debut. The music scene is already heralding the arrival of the sound system that has rocked the Notting Hill Carnival for decades as a landmark event. So don’t miss out.

To be in with a chance of winning a free pair of tickets to Good Times Goes East this Saturday, e-mail 'Good Times' to: htnews@hackney.gov.uk by midday on 26 August. Entries must include a name, full address, contact number and e-mail address. Winners will be pulled out of a hat.
