Make Hackney Sparkle: Christmas markets & shopping

From Stoke Newington to Shoreditch, shop local for all your festive needs

HACKNEY'S spoilt for choice when it comes to markets and independent stores, so why not take advantage of the borough's unique shopping opportunities when searching for the perfect Christmas gift ... or a desperate last minute one.

There is a host of Christmas markets, late night shopping events, street festivals, and carol singing on offer, plus numerous appearances by a very busy Santa, sure to delight/terrify youngsters (delete as appropriate).
