Hackney Wonderland music festival 2016

The indoor music festival takes over five Hackney venues on the weekend of 15 and 16 October

THE Mystery Jets, Lucy Rose (pictured above) and We Are Scientists are among the headline acts set to turn the borough into a Hackney Wonderland this month.

The annual indoor music festival is expanding from one day to two this year. On the weekend of 15 and 16 October, it will be taking over five of the borough’s favourite venues. London Fields Brewery, Oval Space, Mangle, Sebright Arms and The Pickle Factory will all be hosting their share of indie stars and up-and-coming-bands.

Also on the line-up is Stealing Sheep, Yuck, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Swim Deep, Desert Mountain Tribe and Jake Isaac – among many other acts.

Plus the venues are all within a shortwalk of each other, so festival-goers can cool briefly down before diving into their next gig…

Tickets for Hackney Wonderland cost £27.50 (Saturday) and £22 (Sunday).
