Hackney's fireworks return to Clissold Park on 5 November

There are 300 free tickets available to 2016's pyromusical extravaganza, which will see fireworks synchronised to music

GET ready for a cracking night out as Hackney’s pyromusical fireworks show is set to return to Clissold Park on 5 November.

Following on from last year’s sell-out success, tickets to the family-friendly event are currently on sale. They cost £7.50 for adults and £2.50 for children who live in the borough; and £8.50 and £3.50 respectively for non-residents.

The Council is also giving away 300 free tickets through two offers: one for residents and one for registered Hackney-based charities.

This is the third consecutive year that Hackney is hosting the fireworks display, following on from two fantastic previous shows.

Mood lighting will give the park a magical atmosphere, while street performances will animate the pathways around the park. A children’s funfair and food and drink stalls will also accompany this year’s pyromusical display, which will see fireworks synchronised to music.

Residents who wish to apply for the free fireworks tickets should email: with their name, postcode and the subject title ‘Residents Free Tickets Prize Draw’ before 7 October.

Hackney-based registered charities should also email with the name of the organisation, registered charity number, postcode, and subject title ‘Concessionary Tickets’. Winners will be notified by 8 October.

Gates open at 5.30pm and the display starts at 7pm. The display is 20 minutes and is suitable for all ages. Entertainment will be weather-dependant.
